I'm looking at three trucks right now and can't decide on one.

All of them are DC 4WD and automatic.

    1. 2011 TX PRO 93k miles, $20,966 (white)
    2. 2007 TRD Sport 117k miles, lifted, $17,500 (silver)
    3. 2010 TRD Sport 86k miles, lifted $21,985 (gray)

    What would you you get??

Does the Pro have the off-road extras (locker, a-trac)? Would you leave it stock, or lift it?

Does the lift on #3 suit your needs?

I agree with the other posters and would drop #2 from the list.

All one adult owned? Any evidence of being crashed? How do they stack up on cost vs actual value? Has factory maintence been done?

Take a hard look at the lifts. I'd rather buy stock and lift it myself - but that's just me. I vote 1.

Id go #1. I like the extras that the Tx pro offers and I also like the honeycomb grille

Age mostly, I wouldn't spend that much on a 10 year old truck (unless it was something special). It all depends on condition though.

Has the 07 had the frame replaced? If so, it would include new frame, new lower control arms & new leaf springs. Something to consider, but that price is pretty high for an 07.

With the very limited info you posted I would say the 11'. I have no desire to buy somebody else's nodded truck. They may have done great work, but I read way to many posts on here of people trying to fix issues after lifts and such.

2nd looks great. I love the color and rims.
3rd I really dislike. Back end is lower than the front and chrome is ugly personally.
For me, I like the looks of 2, but would choose 1 just because it's stock.

I'd take 1 or 2, but definitely not 3. 2 looks really well cared for for its age. 3 looks like crap IMHO and looks less cared for, and has the potential for more issues because of the giant lift. The condition of the frame and the past service records would be important to consider as well.

Edit: Wait, I meant picture number 3, truck #2, aka silver one. You know what I meant :anonymous:

If you're on the fence between them it might not be a bad idea to pay your trusted mechanic to perform an inspection of your top choice. Also if you can get your hands on any maintenance records that is a plus.
