Here is my 2002 v6, automatic that I bought 2 months ago in Los Angeles. It had 84,000 miles and in great condition. I paid $9,400. I think it was a good deal.

IMO--You stole it. Demand here for 4x4 is high- most likely would have paid a MINIMUM of 11K

Yeah here in LA the demand for 4x4 doesnt seem to high but 4x4 is hard to find. Talking to dealerships around here they say most people just want 2wheel drive.

I was stoked on my deal. The truck is very clean and low miles. The guy at the dealer that sold it said they are just desperate to move inventory and will deal.

Hey man I live in Philly and i rarely ever seem them for sale with low mileage. usually they all want like 10k for a taco with over 140K... Jump on it, make sure you just check everything out. sounds like a good price tho

Thanks everyone for helping me find my first Taco. Unfortunately, I really didn't want to travel over 250 miles to find one. I'm still on my search and hope to find one soon. It does suck that all the ones in the tri-state area generally have 100k+ miles and still have rediculous asking prices. On top of that, the good ones are literally gone in 1-2 days after listing. I think the upcoming winter season has driven demand way high, maybe I should wait til spring to search again...

Sorry man. I think with the 2012s coming out the prices will slowly start coming down. I bet everyone hangs on to their 4x4s up there until it ceases to be shitty when the leaves grow back.
