I did not pay that much for my 2015 off the showroom and there is not 8K in upgrades on that truck nor do you get 100% ROI on accessories. I would be around 22K for it. However my opinion means jack...the market place may well be paying that price. Id offer the 22K - they will say no. You give them your number and walk away. If they have not sold it by the month end they may be willing to negotiate and will call you.

Seems a little high. They put a nice lift on it and are passing that cost to you. My '15 Off Road had 24k and was $30,500. All stock but with Weathertechs and a tonneau. If you're looking to spend that much, get a '17 and go from there.

I'd like to buy new but here in Northern CA (Silicon Valley) seems like every dealership will not budge off MSRP :(

I'm new to the Tacoma and truck world for that matter so I wasn't sure what a fair offer would be.

Even taking into consideration that I have a Sport and not and Off Road, I only paid $30,096 total drive off the lot price for my 2012 when it was brand new. That price is waaaay to high for a 5 year old truck.

Bought my 2013 TX pro 4x4 with 39K on it (pretty much the exact truck you're looking at with pro decals, aftermarket wheels, grille, aFe dry intake, 3% tint) and I paid 29.7 out the door and this was in January. I got it for 27K before TTL. For that truck I'd offer 25-26 and I think that's fair.

8k on upgrades my ass. I can see that if it was a Lt kit with kings on it. It's a pro comp lift. As cheap as the come.

I paid over 5k less for mine... although mine did not come with lift, tires etc... Mine had slightly less miles and is a year newer though. Don't let a place try to justify the price with their "upgrades" (unless maybe they are actually worth). Some dealers like to put on a $300 spacer kit for a cheap "lift" and throw on some flashy tires and wheels and try and justify charging $6k+ more then it is worth. Keep looking IMO.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
It may be worth the drive into Oregon or someplace else to get a truck at a better price.

In my opinion that thing isnt worth more than 26k. They took that truck a hyped the fuck out of it. I agree with some of the comments above.....you could just buy a brand new tacoma and then start fresh. It looks nice dont get me wrong, but you can find a WAY better price on a used tacoma like that.

Don't let them preach to you about it's got lift/tires/wheels ... because if you bring the exact thing in, they'll be quick to tell you that stuff doesn't matter on resale... in that your buying a 2012 Trd or ... and from what ive seen on kbb/nada I wouldn't be paying over $28k for that truck. Good luck bud, sharp truck, but don't get the ring around!

I knew what I wanted and couldn't find it in Florida. I bought mine sight unseen and shipped it in from Texas for like $600... It was a 2013 Baja with supercharger and 30k miles for way less than that. It's risky, but they are Toyotas and you can.still extend the warranty depending on mileage, etc.

Do research, figure out what you want exactly, then go from there. Some one from these forums might even be able to check out the truck for you, depending on location.
