    The better coast
For reference, dc v6 4x4 w/ less then 100k in cali go for about 12-15 privately. but that's the better coast prices.

I saw a dc trd or 4x4 60k w/matching snugtop and side steps and brand new tires go for 15k, it was pretty much the cleanest 1st gen I have ever seen and I got to test drive it :D

Depending on how the frame looks and vehicle history you could easily get 9-11K for the truck in WV. ( Im from Huntington) I Listed my 04 Reg Cab Pre runner and got hits for about 12K, but I just couldn't let it go hard to find a 1st gen with 60,000 Miles and not one spot of rust.. Its all up to the buyer and what they are willing to pay.

BTW where did you get your light mounts for the Rigid Industries Lights?

^ Op's truck has over 100k more miles. That's going to drop the price a little bit :p

Any first gen with 60k will be a hot ticket item...

actually miles don't make much difference where im at.
bear hunters and alike love the first gen Tacoma's and pay top dollar for them 7/10 times you can probly overprice a few grand and still sell fairly quick.
just as an example I checked autotrader.com a couple days ago and there isn't a first gen for sale within 75 miles of where I live

Here in Denver(highest resale for Tacomas 2001-2004, in the country) your truck would sell between $10-12,000.

I am finding the reasoning for the price a little hard to believe....not to mention people drive, and fly out, to get cars and trucks all the time.

True, if you're the only truck for sale that will get you a little more...but its not going to raise the price that much.

^^^ lol not here to argue man just making statements.
I actually know that a couple months back my brother sold an 03 with a 100K for $15,000. and it was it bad shape compared to mine.
actually it never made it to the lot, it was sold before they ever detailed or diagnosed the issues it was having...

Post it in the classifieds, put a price on, I bet your selling price is based more on what you have in the truck than the info you have collected here to establish its value.

^ the info gathered here would give someone the low ball deal of the century.
I asked a question, I in no way posted my truck for sale. I was more curious as the overall market and if i got a fair deal in others perspective

It is worth what somebody will pay for it , I am a toyota first generation guy, currently have two of them, 01 and 03' both v6 trd 4x4 4door trucks, stock original trucks, paid $12,500 for 03 two years ago with 126 on the clock, paid 13,500 two months ago for 01 limited with 100 k on the clock, what are they worth? They are worth what someone will pay for them, not what someone is asking on autotrader, I would sell either one of mine for 18,500 take your pick, is it worth it, auto trader prices say so but I cannot find any takers.

My trucks are not for sale unless I get autotrader prices for them, that is what they are worth to me. You stated for the right price, you would sell her and never look back. Want to share what you paid for the truck? Whatever is was, that was probably a fair price. Take a poll from the forum, are you fishing for a buyer for this truck based on info you provided in this thread. I say yes. Did you get forget what you paid for the the truck? Is that why you want to know what we would pay?

Two things can happen when people ask about "what's my thing worth"

They say, that's what I thought, and in a week their truck/car/boat/bike is sold or \/

    1. Person "wants" to know just in case they sell it

    2. Response say "its worth X"

    3.seller says "no I can get 2x"

    4. Seller responds "I'm wasn't going to sell it anyways" when they get their question answered and didn't like the responses.

I'd just give up. OP probably bought in the "high price Tacoma bubble" (got ripped off), dumped money into it and now doesn't want to take a hit. My guess is the truck will go to some rich highschooler who didn't know how to shop.
