Yeah looks half decent. What a bitch to park though.

HD Ferds are really nice looking rigs. Props to their designing team.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
I just wish it had gotten smaller. The way these trucks have grown since the 80s is rather astonishing. But maybe the new stout will fill that gap.

TRD: Lift, Exhaust, Air Intake, Skid Plate & "Beadlock" wheels. Batman sticker. 255/85R16 Toyo MTs. Debadged. H9s.
150 HP diesel engine driving a generator. 75 HP motor on each wheel. ~15 kW-h battery for in town use and brief “zoom” off road and when passing.
No transmission, the motors are the only thing that drives the wheels. Sort of like a mini-mini Komatsu 980-E, but with a battery.

I understand nothing is cheap nowadays but all the Tacoma models are overpriced by at least a few grand for what you are getting. The rear legroom is flat out unacceptable and is why I will be keeping my Bronco, ultimately. Give us the same interior space as the Ridgeline and I’d be on board immediately.

They certainly are overpriced now. I bought mine relatively early when all trims were about $7-8000 less. The legroom is definitely better in my Bronco than it was in my 3rd gen DC, but not drastically better. Both look roomier than the 4th gen from everything I’ve seen and early reviews. That’s my issue… in many regards I feel like you are paying more for less with the 4th gen vs. the 3rd gen so hard to justify at these prices.

Not necessarily, the Ranger and Colorado are acceptably roomy in the rear vs. what the Taco offers too. I would get a full size but I’m a manual guy so as long as there are options in the market that will trump all other considerations lol

The people want Land Cruiser 70 series with drop side beds. Not the 4th gen.

People say they want simplicity, but rarely buy it when faced with the option. You’ll see a lot more non-fleet ORs and sports than you’ll see SRs.

My bet is that a relaunched simple 70 like Japan is getting would get great fanfare and sell very little in real life.

If I could import one of the current year models I would but those pesky import laws get in the way.

Like 3rd gen but smaller outside , bigger inside...

4rd gen looks like toys little kids want to buy from car stores.

Same shit happened when 3rd gen came out. Always disappointed. I’ll go ahead and remind the new 4th gen owners…. 4th gen<3rd gen< 2nd gen< 1st gen.
