Wasn't sure if all tacomas have the switchable daytime running lights or if its just certain years.

My '12 didn't have DTRL's at all. My '14 has switchable ones.

My 14 has switchable DRLs. I did a bypass wire mod so they ONLY work in the DRL sw position. I'm putting together a write up on it.

The 2014 manual shows a 4 position switch for the US which allows DRLs to be off. Canada gets a 3 position switch that prevents DRLs from being turned off.

My 2015 access cap has it. Edit, it is switchable. I can turn them off if I want.

My '15 has them...DRL are the orange blinker lights. Headlights turned on/off are manually.

My 12 had always on dtrl here in pa, my 14 has the switch so I can turn em off

I think it may also be location dependent; I seem to remember one of the Canadian guys saying the always had the dtrl without a switch, and maybe California as well?

If my 14 had the mirror with the temp in it, it would be damn near perfect

I think toyota finally got wise to them melting the lens. Because they are now recalling the old headlight lens that have DRL w/o a switch.
