A few months back I had a seizure on the road and drove my taco into a house. I am currently on the lookout for fenders and a hood, but I need to know what years of first gen tacos fenders, and hood will work with my 99 taco. Then from there I will buy the correct fitting parts for mine.

    Welcome.

Staying stock or piecing back together, you'll use a '96-'00 hood. If you found an entire front clip from '01-'04 would work too.

Good luck with everything. Sorry to hear of the wreck and cause.

@cruxofthebisquit thank you! And yeah it does suck but doing my best to get the truck back in running order. And yeah ill.need the luck, if we buy a parts truck I'll need it at least. These taco's are in such high demand, making them so expensive. We can barely find anything that anyone would be willing to sell to us lmao. But I'll get there! And @Black DOG Lila thank you!

My buddy had a seizure a while back and they almost took his license, are they still letting you drive, I'm guessing yes?

Yeah, in the state of Idaho there is no statue that says you cannot drive for a set amount of time. I was able to drive just days after I had mine. Of course my EEG test came back good that my brain signals weren't messed up. So I drove after that. The doctor told me that 1 in 3 people have one completely unexplained seizure in thier life. I dont have epilepsy or anything... lol

Even if your state doesn't *require* you to get tested, I'd for sure get that looked at in more detail. Last thing you want is a repeat of that. You're pretty lucky to be alive. Was this an ER doctor, a GP, or a seizure specialist?

My soon-to-be ex sister-in-law has seizures, and it took her a while to get her license back. She does have a form of epilepsy, though.

Hopefully you never have to go through that again, that's scary as hell!

I’m sorry to hear that you had a seizure while driving. I hope that you’re able to keep your license and that you’re in good health. We have plenty of parts up here in northern California, if you can’t find any fenders or hoods locally.
