They do attach using double stick tape, but I've never had a problem. Never trapped anything on the inside, on this truck or my 2012

Cool, I'll check them out. Any experience with the neoprene sleeves? Ive used them on my Yamaha raptor and yfz450 in the past. They helped if you were following somebody throwing a roost very closely in the sand.I'm not sure the front coilovers on a pickup take the same beating?

I don't have any experience with those. But I'm sure sdhq will also have them in stock. Certainly couldn't hurt. Cheap insurance at the very least

So I just lifted my 2016 4x4 offroad. Just did the bilstein 5100s adjusted to the top clip. The kit didn't come with the different drop kit. Would you guys recommend getting the drop down kit? Thanks

I just lifted my taco with Icon coilovers. They are turned up about 2.25 inches over stock. The CVs looked pretty good but I still put the drop kit in. They look even better afterwards. My reasoning was it does make a noticable difference and it was only 30 bucks and 30 minutes of work. Here's an after pic. I forgot to take a before pic before I put it on.

    Hi Guys,

Just got my tracking number from the group buy for my OME Suspension Kit with 887's and Dakar leafs the other day. So hopefully they will be here in a few days. I also got a set of Light Racing Upper control arms and a set of 4 stainless steel 2" extended brake hoses! And 2 new bolts for the upper control arms so I can just cut the heads off and pull them out!

I got a few questions for you guys. I do all the work on my own vehicles and I'll be installing the kit.

    1. Just wondering when I install the Light racing upper control arms should I just center the ball-joint in the center of the oval slot where you adjust it back and forth for the camber?

    2. I'll be scheduling a alignment for the truck shortly after I get the lift installed but should I ride on the kit for a few days before the alignment if there is going to be any settling?

    Thanks!

Awesome, Ya mise well add all 4 lines so I don't have to worry about changing the stupid rubber ones in the future. But I read the install instructions of the ball-joints on the control arms to be set at 0, I'll just center them the best I can and aim for getting an alignment the next day! Got the coils installed with new top hats so the front should be cake! Thanks Josh if I got any questions I'll let ya know!

Gonna order some of that dry lube on Amazon right now! And I've read about the zip tie mod but where do I find that post to see where to put them. Can't remember where I saw it.....

Neither bolt needs to be cut. The passenger one takes a little more finagling but is still able to be removed and installed without cutting it

I can always just install them from the back to the front and they will go right in!

Not really any worse of bending than the driver side.

I just cut both out. 4" Diablo torch blade on the sawzall took care of that in about 2 minutes. No bending of sheet metal or cringing! Torque wrench and loc-tite good to go!

What's the torque on that bolt?
