I apologize for not responding. I missed your post. Here are some photos. As a disclaimer, that video I posted is a misrepresentation of the process. it is not that easy. But it's doable.

We haven't tested any sort of leveling kits on the 2016 Tacoma yet, as of right now we have the fully adjustable coil-overs that work very well with the newer Tacomas and are able to be adjusted and fine tuned however you like.

It is normal for Toyota's to lean to the drivers side, this is due to a little more weight constantly being on that side. It is more prominent when a truck is lifted as well.
If the lean is in the rear we do sell a solid axle shim that will correct this on one side and give you an overall even stance. http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/TTFS--12-Solid-Steel-Flat-Axle-Shim_p_1352.html

Finally got my Lift installed, and FN wheels put on. What a differance in the way the truck handles. I couldn't be happier so far.

Those were 285/70r17's. They rubbed pretty terrible so I've gone to 275's. They are noticeably smaller but they don't rub.image.jpg

One more question about OME springs. Headstrong shows 3" lift with 887 and toy tech shows 2". I do have a brush guard up front which is about 75 pounds. Who's right. I don't plan on getting UCA.

Toy tech says front trim packer for OME springs only. Will it not work on bilsteins?

886's is what HS recommended to me if I planned on putting a winch bumper on. I got 3" without any added weight. If it was heavier it would certainly be less of a gain.

[edit] if you email HS their customer service is awesome. Same with Toytec. Probably be better to get it from the horse's mouth as they say. I'm just some schmuck.

We see 2" with the OME 887 coils mostly because the '16s are already an inch higher over stock from previous generations. That means that from hub to fender you will be at 3" of lift.
I looked on the website and it seems that Headstrong says 2" as well.

The OME trim packer will not work with the Bilstein's, but we do sell a spacer that does the same thing but fits on top of the strut assembly.

Those of you rubbing with 285s... If you went with a spidertrax 1.25in spacers, would rubbing still be an issue?

I'd be interested to know this as well. I had the tire shop try 3 different offsets to no avail (-12, -6, & 0). So I dropped a tire size in defeat. One day, when it's paid off I'll go up to a six inch lift and laugh in the face of the cab mount.

Some people have said that the LCA can be adjusted forward and I have read people with the TRD rims have 285 no rub. They have a +4 offset (I think). The tire guys theory was if the tire was further under the wheel well it would clear. I didnt have the time or the patience to continue. I'd love to know the result if you try.

I really would like to know that too.

I'm 100% oem right with a 16 TRD off road and have 4 brand new 285/75/16 Duratrac's not installed sitting around.

my spidertrax 1.25's should be here Tuesday or wed.

I only drive on the highway and city to work, no off-roading.

think I can get tires mounted an be ok for a few weeks without the cab mount chop uca's and lift?

So with the 285's the tire will be wider and may rub on the UCA which is typically one of the reasons people get the spidertrax. However adding the spacer changes your scrub radius which means you could make contact with plastic trim and possibly the cab mount. You really cannot take advantage of moving the tire forward by adusting the LCA unless you install an aftermarket UCA to help with the top offset.

If you have a lift coming I suggest you wait until you get that installed and then test fit your tires to avoid making cuts or trims that may not be needed once the lift is installed.

thanks for the good info, its hard when there are so many ppl on this forum in multiple threads saying
"yeah it will fit with spacers only as long as ur not going full lock and going over a bump or compressing the stock suspension at the same time".

Guess I just wanted to hear it would work for now...

    2 more question tho

1st, after I do the spacers, lift(2"front/1.5"rear) and spc uca's can I get away with it for a little longer before i find someone to do the cab mount chop? basic street driving no full lock.
local shop wants to charge about $400 I feel that's a little high since I'm even providing the plates from bayareametalfab(jlee on the forum)

    2nd question,
I tried searching but can't find much info on gen 3 alignment.
I see ppl saying different things about alignment to fit 285/75
    about camber and castor.

any links or info on that and the adjustability of the LCA after instal of UCA would be very helpful.

    camber, toe, castor ect..
    I read somewhere +3 castor??

I'm so use to all the info on my track car I feel out of my relm, hate being a noob

but just to keep my post interesting this is what I use to for my DD

First off, that a nice daily!

OK what you need to do is find an alignment shop that knows how to set up your alignment post lift with the SPC UCA'S. If you do that you actually should not need the CMC. I ran 285's with SPC UCA'S and spacer lift for a couple of years without touching the cab mount. My move to 315's is why I had to cut them.

Alignment info on this type of set up is not well collected so I don't have any links I can share you. High caster is correct but the key is dialing it in from the bottom not the top.
