A question, and it's probably been answered in multiple ways which I have read on a few on these forums etc.
    I have a 2016 OR 4x4.
The only thing I want to do to the suspension is to level it.
So should I go with just a 1" spacer up front and if so what would you recommend?
Or is it better to go with the new Bilstein's designed for the 2016, up front....and adjust to what setting?
And any recommendations on where to purchase.
    Thanks for any input!

I may be mistaken but I think it's an OR. I see no scoop.

i vote bilstein. you may want to look into some after market springs if you do any real off roading. They OME springs are awesome

I wanted to give a praise report. After installing 5100 at 1.75 stock coils and 1inch AAL I got the needle bearing vibe. Had a local guy do the ECGS bushing install for $150. So plus the part I was out $210. All vibes are gone and the truck feels tighter than when I bought it new. Vibes I felt pre-lift are gone as well. Kudos to ECGS. My truck is much more enjoyable to drive now.

Good to know. Is that something that I should look into replacing after my lift install anyway, or just if I notice some vibrations?

I don't think its necessary unless you get the vibes. From what I read even the vibes won't cause failure. It was just super annoying to me and magnified when the weather got colder. Some have had no issues, but if you do get them I would recommend it without a doubt. I believe Toyota has a TSB for the bearing but some with older models have continued to have problems after they had it done. This is supposed to be a permanent solution and $200 to save me the hassle of dealing with Toyota was a no brainer . This can be done by a confident DIYer if you order the puller from ECGS but it is $60 as well, the extra $80 to have it done by a reputable shop was well worth it to me. My mechanic was pretty hesitant about replacing a bearing with a bushing but after I told him ARB used bushing in their diffs he was on board.

Hello, not a stranger to lifts, first taco though and first post. Coming from a 14 Ram 2500 Mega cab with a full Carli 2.5 PinTop suspension upgrade 3" front lift and 1" rear with King 2.5 Front resi and 2.5 rear piggy back shocks. This was an almost 10k lbs truck and with the set up it had it would boogie over almost any terrain at a decent speed 40-50mph without bottoming out.

I currently own a 17 Taco access cab TRD OR. I really like the look and stance of the Taco in the pic above. Anyone know what size tires these are and what set up its running. I have to say that this Taco's favorite thing to do at any speed is bottom out. So upgrading shocks and springs is definitely on the to do list. It's early in my search for what to go with. I am going to inquire about a set of custom tuned Kings done by a company that normally does Rams but recently started doing Tacomas. Given my experience with the Kings on my Ram and the ability to get shocks custom tuned to my personal needs and type of truck. I'm gonna Give that company a call and see if they can do a set of Kings for my Taco. I believe it includes a set of King 2.5 Resi coil overs for the front and 2.5 piggybacks for the rears and custom tuning from level 1 to level 6. 1 being the lightest and softest tune and 6 being race truck tuning and hyper speeds.

    Has anyone gone this route?

Because I'll be going out in New Hampshire with a bunch of buddies that get rough so I'd like my baby to be as capable as ever. Plus it's a John Hammond thing you know "Spare No Expense" lol but I'm up for being talked out of something that is definitely not necessary. I respect your opinion 100%

People often get googley over highest price. If you're okay with it, definitely hit that shit, and throw in some icon bump stops too, but you probably won't see an actual noticeable difference between a stage 7 and stage 4 in what you'll be doing in NH. The exception is the compression adjustment valves that are introduced at stage 6 (that's the only reason I went up to that stage myself).

Whatever you end up with, welcome to the icon club, enjoy

Thanks this definitely helps my choice out big time. But I definitely will be keeping a look out for Advice and warnings. I do understand top dollar doesn't always mean top quality I already know I'll only be using King Fox or Icon but finding a good complete kit is so hard to do!
