You sure are sharp aren't you? There's always changes between model years and we need to see if we can deal with growling from front ends by doing the old TSB or look at new solutions.

I said I did the needle bearing replacement, thats the old TSB. The current 16 model has the TSB updated needle bearing. It's not defective at all, its simply reacting to an incorrect drive angle. You can't even apply the old TSB to the 16's.

My dealership will do right to normal customers, but I don't feel that a lift that I installed, which caused an issue is warrant for an in depth continuous repair.

The 16 does have the same needle bearings as the 2nd gen and the TSB for the 2nd gen has already been done on multiple 3rd gens...

Its the same part #. The LH Bearing on a 16 Taco is 90364-35008. Same as the TSB part # for a 2nd gen.

Some will experience relief with a whole carrier replacement, but thats an extreme case.

Nice to know, but I read the opposite on here. People said it's the the same part number for as the old bearing. Still don't understand why it's worked for 3rd gens then. Or why the new bearing doesn't work for 3rd gens. Regardless, Toyota will take care of it if I get the vibe. Thanks for the info

Can someone recommend a complete suspension lift for a AC OR that will eventually have bumpers and a winch? I also carry more weight than average in the bed but I'm looking to keep a smooth ride. I don't mind piecing a kit together but I'd rather buy a complete suspension lift and be done. 2 to 3 in will suffice. Thanks for any help.

I'm having the exact same problem after lifting my truck. I'm glad other people are having the same problem. Makes me feel a little bit better about my brand-new truck vibrating wile going down the road.

Question for those running OME 885 and bilstiens with AAL. With this set up does it get the truck level ? or will the 1.5 blocks be better for leveling? Thanks

Ok so I finished installing my icon stage 4 took a total of 3 hours to finish and the ride with factory tires is great. I had to cut off both upper control arm bolts. Didn't want to try to bend up my sheet metal. Once I installed my bfg ko2 it got a little rough but I'm going to try different tire pressure. image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

Did you take before and after measurements for the lift?

285/70r17 ko2 the wheels are 17x8.5 offset +7.4mm so about 5" back spacing. I have a little rub on the fender flair with the tires turned slightly but I'm hopping after the alignment that will take care of that.

I did from floor to fender it was 35" in the front after the lift it was 36 3/4.
The rear was 35 1/2 defore after was 38
I did have to preload the drivers side coil over about 4 turns from factory settings

Let us know if that fixes it for you.

I'm looking to do the same but with Icon Stage 3s and 285/75/16s, but I don't wanna do a CMC or cut fenders just yet.

Ok so I had the alinment done they set the caster to 3 degrees and it didn't help the slight rub. After looking a little closer I found a spot where it rubs on the cab mount. So I guess even though I didn't want to do it I'm going to have to do the CMC.

Looking at the method wheels for my 16 trd or dcsb 4x4. question is should i get 17" to replace my 16"? or stick with 16's.
Will be doing a lift later and wondered if the 16's would still work.

Either will work. It's just preference. I debated the same thing and ended up going with 17s.

Damn, I really didn't want to have to do that. Might stick with 265's and just armor up.
