I called eibach yesterday about the pro truck adjustable. He said it will fit but not listed due to the new lbs of the 2016 coil rates. He literally walked backed to the shop to Confirm he thought they just pulled in a 2016 to tear down test cold rates and see if they need adjusted or current is fine. The man took my number and email and said I will here from him soon. I am waiting.

5th setting, 23.5 now in the front. Was 24" but it settled down.

Morning. Will post when I here back. Had 5100s on my last truck and no complaints but sure taking a while to either give a OK or redesign. Anyways would try the Eibach especially if they come down ton 5100 prices.

Is that because they sell Pro Comp? I wouldn't trust much else from them if they're telling you this. Pro Comp is far from the best quality lift you can buy.

I would say you're pretty accurate on that initial thought. But how firm is the question? Very noticiable? Only time will tell.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
I'm sure this question is answered somewhere already...so don't yell at me. Are the stock suspension parts from a 2016 worth anything? If so, what? And whats the best way to sell them? What about OEM mudflaps?

I went with 265/75/16s and the toytec boss lift lost 1 1\2 mpg so it's well worth it imo

I'm curious what you find out as well because I plan on something similar. I wonder how the 887s compare

885s on 5100s set @ 0 (with driver lean spacer), 1" rear block with 5100s. Stock UCAs. Achieved 2-2.25" lift in the front.

The height is minimal compared to stock. The 887s would probably require you to upgrade UCA, just couldn't afford it at the time and now regretting it.

Also with 887s you probably want to get new wheels/tires too... Stocks would look tiny.

I'm not unhappy, I'm just saying, go higher if you can budget it :)

My lift isn't that noticeable unless I park next to a stock suspension.

It sounds like people are getting 2" lift with the 885s so another 1/2" on top of that? They might work better for me once I get a front bumper on and since I'm already weighing the front down with the skid plates. Do you think I would need to get new UCAs right away or could I get away with running them with stock until I can save up the money for them? Just want more clearance off road and compensate for the added weight.

I'm just worried the ride would be too stiff until I get the bumper and winch down the road but they I could go with a steel plate bumper instead of aluminum and save a good chunk of change and bolt on sliders are only going to add to the sag. I'm not worried about it affecting mpgs since it will be less weight than having another person in the truck with me and I'm keeping my 265's for fuel economy. I would rather buy once than have to do it all over again. Do you know how much lift the 16s are getting with the 886s and will I need UCAs? I'm going to be running the 5100s in back and a wheeler progressive aal.

    Question for you lifted guys...

I'm running 1 inch blocks in the rear and TRD Pro wheels and notice that the passenger side tire sticks out further than the driver side by maybe 3/4 inch. Anyone else notice this? My passenger side tire is about flush with the fender flare but the driver side sits inside the flare...

    Ideas?

I agree with it being not completely accurate since some members have gotten a lot more than 1.5" lift with an OME setup. I'm curious as to how much I would get with the 886 coils and the 5100s set at 0 or how much settling there would be with them. I know its not recommending to preload the spring by setting the 5100 at .85. I'm not looking to put on 285s yet but I would like to down the road. I just need to gain 2-2 1/2" of lift to gain more clearance and still have complete travel of the suspension.
