Pic 1 = after a test drive, no rub at all which doesn’t surprise me since I had very little with -12 Ray10s on the same exact tire. (Yes, I’ve CMCd, trimmed, etc).

pic 2 = space between tire and UCA. Plenty. Again not surprising.

Pic 3 = front end with jack under it, making it just about level with the rear so I can get an idea of how some new coilovers upfront would leave it sitting.

overall I love the matte black finish of the wheel. What I don’t like is them being annoying to mount not being hub centric, and the $4/lug price tag that comes along with it. Not sure if I’m going to keep them, but we’ll see.

One thing I did notice and I don’t know how it’s possible, but they feel lighter when accelerating than my previous 285s + Ray10s did. And noticeably!! But I know mathematically that’s not possible as this combo is heavier. Maybe 17” wheel + less tire to rotate? Maybe a 7” wheel narrowing up the tire? No clue. It was nice not to have to slip the clutch as much as I expected to like before from a stop light.

Really digging the simplicity of the wheels and matte finish. I loved my Ray10s, but I think the toned downed look fits the 2.7 better.

May swap out the Coops for Toyo though just so I can go 285/75/17 (34”). I’d LOVE to go STT Pro on 315/70/17, but I know that isn’t considered “safe” on a 7” wheel (though I’ve seen it done quite a few times) and I’d likely need spacers.
