    Pretty much true.

    Pittsburgh is blue collar and unpretentious.
    The steel mills are almost all gone, but the character remains.
    It has more in common with the Midwest than Philly.

    Philadelphia...ugh.

    Mrs Gritto is from Johnstown, about an hour and a half east of Pittsburgh.
    She's the daughter of a steel worker.
    It was like a mini Pittsburgh in its heyday, but the mills are gone.
    It hasn't been able to transition as Pittsburgh has.
    It's economically very depressed.
    But the people are very friendly and down home, for city folk.

    I prefer to live out here in the boonies. :cool:

    True Fact:

    When shooting Doubles Trap, the lead off man asks if the squad is ready.
    Then asks: "Puller Ready?"
    Then says:
    "Show Us a Pair". :rolleyes:
    (So everyone can verify that the trap is set correctly before starting the Round).

    Out at the Club we had a lot of joking around and camaraderie.
    Kinda like Whatever.
    And yes, there were women shooters (and pullers).

    Imagine now the usual snickering when there's a woman puller and the call goes out:
    "Show Us a Pair!"

    I'll never forget the time she actually did. :eek::cool:
