Never heard it called a floater. Have always called it a cork.

Must be a regional thing I guess. Most people call them floaters around here but a few call them corks.

 

Just a suggestion...I always trim the weedguard way down on jigs; it seems to help with hookups but also slightly increases hangups. I use scissors and cut them in this area. Just a thought!

 

I’m thinks of getting billies to match my rear with a preload 5100. Would it be the 805coils?
