It's not what you do, it's how you do it
That's mainly what it is. I'm just burnt out. Hell, yesterday was my monday and I already felt like I was losing it.

Reno is done except for granite in kitchen and we're not doing any part of that other than picking granite and paying them to install. Everything else is done inside so happy about that! We are going to have a metal worker come out and add some height to our courtyard fence so we can keep the new puppy from terrorizing the neighbors when he gets excited and jumps the wall to greet them.

All the dust that we generated made my wife's asthma flare up horribly to the point she was in the ED Sunday. This was the second ED visit since this pandemic started and it scares the SHIT out of me. First visit was tummy stuff and we were 99.999% positive what was going on but still not fun to have to simply drop your wife off and go home since we allow no visitors atm. With the asthma, had NO idea if it was truly her asthma or Covid. She couldn't say three words without coughing or gasping for air. Fortunately they determined it was most likely asthma since her symptoms subsided nicely with a breathing treatment and steroids. She's enjoying some days off while waiting for her Covid test results.

Guess between being exhausted with all the construction at home, dealing with pandemic stuff at work and my wife not feeling great is taking a toll on my mental state. Feeling ridiculously burnt out! :(

Have all (if they're on time) 2k rounds of my recent orders showing up today along with the 25rd mags. Very excited. No rifle yet, so I can break out the slingshot and use that as my first line of defense from squirrels and the neighbors dog that keeps shitting on my lawn.

Most of my weeks lately have felt just like that. Was in a meeting yesterday and have never come so close to punching a colleague in the throat. Dude would NOT stop rambling about useless BS that wasn't even close to the meeting agenda. Topping off the day was the new orthopedic rep who doesn't have a clue about what he needs so I had to walk him through what we needed for a particular case.

Fuckwits EVERYWHERE!!! Except here..... well.... You're still all fuckwits but are my favorite kind of fuckwits in here and help me keep some level of sanity so Thank You!!! :hattip:

I was about to say, don't go thinking too highly of us just yet. Listening to people go on and on about shit they know either nothing about or are severely misinformed about what has to be done are a daily occurrence that I'm sure we all face. I can barely stand it most days. And they wonder why I don't answer my phone

Nah! The Whatever's are great group and I really love hanging out in here. I know I'm not alone with the absolute fuckery I deal with on a daily basis. Nice to hear others vent about similar issues.

Such a relief!!! She's delivered three babies to Covid pos patients since this started. Last one was a little over two weeks ago so I was pretty worried!

Aww bummer about the asthma flare up. I've had that happen but didn't end up in the ED for it. I may have stupidly decided to go camping and hiking while having issues but thankfully I had my inhaler on me. The shots help me so much but I decided to stop taking them and I just have to attempt to manage my allergies better. I hate having asthma, thanks mom.

Our corporate site that we use for all of our personal info and such gives you 3 attempts to login before locking you out and then you have to call in to get a passcode MAILED to you so you can get back in. Whenever I screw it up twice in a row, i feel like i'm Indiana Jones plotting how he's going to grab the idol

No, they don't. It is literally mailed and I don't receive it for at least a week. My email is more secure than whoever the hell is delivering my mail that has access to all my shit
