    I have basically the same mower (mine is a 17hp though) and it's been damn near perfect for about 15 years.
    I got a free cart with mine, which I use all the time.
    Blades (here anyhow) are cheaper at a JD dealership than they are at Lowes or anywhere else.
    Also...they should be drastically reducing the prices right about now, you may be able to talk them down a few hundred bucks.

    Side note: several years ago my buddy found one (in September) at Lowes for $2k, ended up paying $750 for it.

    From experience, there's a line from sharpening them enough to too thin which dulls faster. My tiny mower and lawn leaves room for error and i just take a file to it


    Also, I've taken the ultimate step against my lawn, which i hate...making it look good

    Here's a picture of an old schoolhouse just south of the border in MD.
    Closed as a school some time before the 70s.
    For 3 decades thereafter, it was used as a Haunted House to scare the kiddies at Halloween time.
    The volunteers who put on the show really got into it.

    Due to liability concerns, that was stopped in 2007.
    Too bad.

    Killjoys with corncobs up their ass and their lawyers are why we can't have fun things any more.
