Morning Whatever people and happy Friday

Today there's a team "happy hour" scheduled but they did it earlier in the day and I expect to be let go afterwards which isn't really a win for me because I'm now an hour ahead of everyone and ineligible for prizes. I'm undecided if I'll grump out and not join or just sit back and watch the madness ensue with 20 people on a call all trying to talk at the same time

I eat by handful in a particular order, but not by the bag that way.
I actually like raisins but I agree that they always suck when they come in mixes. Same with almonds and pecans. Like they use some sort of inferior item in the mixes. Rather disappointing imo.

@Gritto, the one thing that kept me motivated and charged up when doing a 50 plus mile bike ride, was getting behind a couple of good looking chicks. Nothing like a nice ass in spandex bike riding shorts to keep you motivated. Sorta like the proverbial carrot on a stick.

TL/DR: I'm considering lying to my doctor to get in to my visit.

    Full SitRep:

A couple weeks ago I made an appointment to see my doc about a weird bump I have on the bottom of my sternum. Of course I was bombarded with questions about whether I had been experiencing symptoms associated with Covid. I hadnt. After my appointment they set a follow up for today.

Around that same time I submitted a mandatory Covid test via saliva sample to an online doctor for my school. It came back negative.

Last Saturday, I mowed the yard and it was very dry and dusty, which wreaked havoc on my sinuses.

This caused me to come down with a sinus infection which, if you've had one you know that the some of the symptoms directly correlate with Covid.

I am on top of the sinus infection, through rest and self medicating with vitamins, fluids, rest and frequent expulsion of gunk.

My concern is that when I enter my doc office, that I will be inundated with the typical qualifying question for Covid which may alarm them. I want to avoid this.

While fighting the sinus infection, I was diligent in taking my temperature frequently. (Seriously, I took my temp probably 30-40 times in the last two days.

I never had a fever. Extreme fatigue (caused not only by the sinus infection but stress and anxiety as well), stuffed up, coughing, sneezing and watery eyes.

For all the medical professionals in this group, how should I answer the questions I will receive when I visit my doctor's office?

@CurtB , I lost a plain jane remington .243 by one day at a pawn shop. I had a buddy going to loan me the money, and he keep the rifle until I paid him back. We were pulling out of the driveway and his bitchy wife came out and told him no, he couldn't do it. I called the pawn shop a couple of days later, and it was gone.

Also, is it feasible that bungee jumping could be a valid form of spinal decompression?

You are correct. 68 has chrome "grate" grill with the horizontal strip higher up. 68's also have wing windows. Fun Fact Friday! Long story short, I had a crush on my neighbor growing up and she drove one, couldn't get the girl so I got the car haha

People are still allowed to get normal sick and everyone has to go in with a mask regardless so I can't imagine it'll be a huge deal. I'd just let them know you made a poor decision to mow on a day without your allergy meds and ended up with a small sinus infection from it.

My allergies are HORRIBLE if I'm not on top of them so that's all pretty much my normal if I'm having a bad day, but throw an inhaler in the mix lol. You'll be fine after they take your temp which is standard anyway.

This. They're already taking precautions involving all patients, and since you tested negative and haven't had a fever, I can't imagine them doing anything they wouldn't do normally. As far as the questions go, always answer honestly. No reason not to.

well I was off by one year, but I don't think the front ends changed until 1970. Tell me more, what engine, and what mods have you done to increase horsepower.

@Roll Tide , just be straight up with them. I'm having surgery on my hand, and they called me today for covid test on the 13th. which I have no doubt will test negative.

I would just tell them that you are there solely for the sternum issue and you're not paying them for anything else. But I tend to be an asshole about that kind of stuff.
Or lying to them is also a good option.
