Apologies, but I have to rant!
There is this girl at work, we call her RBF. She used to be in my department (Quality Engineering), but back in May got moved back to planning. Her, I and another girl have an internal audit we have to perform. Trying to accomplish a date we can do this has been a nightmare! She’s so entitled and gives nothing but excuses. Ugh!

 

You may have to go over her head to get her boss to let you schedule it for when it works for you and the other girl. Two out of 3 agreeing is the best and RBF might just have to deal with it. Suits like internal audits, so he will probably agree with you.

 

Ugh, I've worked with that type before. No, thank you....so annoying. You wonder how some people earn their paycheck.

^^yep, totally agree. She needs to set aside her work to pull her weight. Anytime we had internal audits anyone working them were pulled off their duties to complete it.

Although our audits are probably way more critical. I've been kicked out of conference room reservations for audits because folks pretty much go on lock down till they're completed. I've done a few before and am happy to not work in an area impacted by it anymore.

 

On the subject of work, I can bend paper clips into the shapes of small animals.

I used to have a co-worker who would steal straws from our cafe at work and sit and make things with them half the day. Little origami stars, shrimp, flowers, etc.... She was an interesting person.

 

I don’t actually do that, was just quoting lyrics from an old Weird Al Yankovic song.

I built this lamp out of random plumbing and gas pipe, along with other assorted hardware. I found everything in my 1926 garage.
The rotary snap-action switch is from a garage in Pittsburgh that was built in 1899.
