It's supposedly going to be -15c for us this weekend but I'm highly doubtful. The forecast keeps changing constantly and I don't think we're supposed to be getting that cold just yet.

 

Had a chance for a brief moment at an elk today. He steped outta some brush broadside slightly quatering away. Perfect shot opportunity. I nocked an arrow, pulled up my range finder and hit the button. ....5 yrds. ( the elk was at least 45 yrds away) tried again...8 yrds. He seen me move and ran off. Damn snow. After he ran off i tried ranging a few things and furthest i got was 10 yds. The damn snow was coming down so hard I couldnt get a range on anything.

 

No. At least for me. When someone is banned, you don't get that luxury. Have to type the name in full.

So this happened today....
I work with a couple of younger guys (22 and 28) and up until a couple of weeks ago they were great workers, zero complaints from me. And I like them. Well....I don't know if they had a 'let's let the old fucker do all the work' meeting or what, but recently they've gotten a severe case of don't give a fuck.
About 4ish I suggested we all take a quick 'before we finish up' break. About 20-30 minutes later I got up (they use to get the hint) and got back at it. At 5:10 I noticed they hadn't moved a muscle. So me being the dick I am, I walked into the office, plopped my fat ass in a chair and announced, "you fuckers can have it, I'm done for the day". That got them moving....I, on the other hand, sat in that chair with a chew of Griz until it was time to go.
Tomorrow, as soon as they pull their shit, I'm leaving for the day. No goodbyes, no fuck you's....I'll just quietly disapppear into the old man abyss.
