Apparently they have never experienced the euphoric crispiness of a correctly spatchcocked fowl.

 

Oooh pretty cows.

We did finally meet our neighbor who has all the cattle around us. I suspect he was waiting for his opportunity to find us outside to ask if he could continue using our driveway for access.

His cows are not nearly as cute looking.

Such a shame. I really do have to get better at turkeys though. Getting through those bones is a bitch and a half but totally worth the effort.
