Morning I start nights tonight and guess what the roofers just showed up!!!

 

Ugh. Bummer!

I would be tempted to find a quiet area that I could drive to and sleep in the car.

My morning meeting for rescheduled to the afternoon. We used to never allow Friday afternoon meetings

Hope everyone has a fun and or relaxing weekend planned!

 

Makers is good but Four Roses is REALLY good. Our local bottle shop gets single barrel selections that are amazing!! With ya on the chaser/mixer. Give me a good bourbon or whiskey over a few rocks with just a twist of lemon and I'm good. For some reason I can only drink it in the fall/winter. Once it starts warming up those spirits get put away and I go with my standby Tequila and Vodka.

Anyone ever here of John L Sullivan whiskey? Had it in a restaurant bar a few years ago and haven't been able to find it anywhere nearby? By far the BEST whiskey I've ever had.

 

Never heard of it but it's kinda funny that John L Sullivan was a popular auto dealership growing up and where we used to live.

 

I hate (and whenever possible refuse) Friday afternoon meetings. I also hate early Monday morning meetings. I join you in protest!

 

When you search it online you get hits for the car dealer and the boxer.

If you like Irish Whiskey and ever have the opportunity to try I highly recommend it

 

I considered bumping it into next week but it's prior to 4 with someone I don't hate so I can give it a pass even though it is Friday.

But I still don't like it.

 

I can almost guarantee we won't find that here but I'm hoping next year brings slightly more travels where we can take advantage of finding things we can't normally get here

 

I never got into whiskey.

Come to think of it, I rarely drink hard stuff at all.

 

You're a better person than I. Like or no like I would be the guy to reschedule to next week.

I looked online at one point but after shipping I felt like it was too expensive when I can get some really good whiskey's and bourbons locally without any hassle. Might even be that it was supposed to be a one off experience to be remembered fondly and not to be chased after.
