Only went out once in the past few months. Feels awful. May go out next weekend, even with snow. Just not mud because i don't want to go digging ruts in the trails

I've tried the reduced recoil rounds. Don't care much for em. Just my 2 cents.

 

I'm just going through the paces because I said I would. Gun hunting just isn't my thing and this will more than likely be my last time. Nothing at all against it, I just much prefer bowhunting.

I hear you. As you know, I've started to learn Bow Hunting. Just not sure if it's my thing. Just the thought of losing around $25 for every missed shot and you can't find your arrow or bolt sickens me a little. I was lucky enough to have retrieved the two bolts that I thought were gone.

 

Tell us about these firearms.

 

I get that. I shot a practice arrow from my treestand earlier this year, I've looked for it 3 times and still haven't found it.

 

Yes, they really were that close.

 

Another factor that I'm pondering is, my blind isn't set up for compound bow hunting while can do a crossbow but still a little pain in the butt. The terrain I hunt on is very different from what you hunt on and treestands are simply not an option. I do like the idea of getting a deer in that close as the challenge is greater despite being able to bait them.
