Lol our old house had an RV height door at the shop so height was never an issue but here we had to make sure it was an 8ft door and not a 7ft. Our realtor couldn't quite grasp our odd requirements but she thankfully just went with the program. I'd have never heard the end of it had we bought a house with a 7ft shop door lol.

 

yeah mine isn't even quite 7 feet. I'm at 82 inches it would be all fine except for dropping the tent onto the truck. right now I can back into the garage and winch the tent up and down. I dont want to go back to lifting the tent on and off like I did with my last truck that was too tall for the garage. my back just doesnt like that anymore

 

I put this parking pad in a few summers ago because i couldnt fit this truck in the garage. Thinking i might need to build an extension on the garage over the pad and have a 9 ft garage door on it. Then i wont have to deal with the damn height restrictions.

na no shits given here. I'm not in an area with a HOA and the city bylaws are fairly relaxed. fence could be another foot taller but neighbor already had one built so i matched his height.
