I think he meant “pork stick”. Autocorrect got him.

So my buddy rolls into town on business yesterday. He swings by to drop off a few things that he picked up for me in Mexico. We're chatting for a bit in my garage. He sees the tires that I took off of my truck about 6 weeks ago. He inquires about them as they were supposed to be sold to another TW member who never completed the sale. So I gave him a good buddy price and I casually mention that I'm one step closer to getting a crossbow. He decides to offer me a " better " deal than the cash he was gonna pay me for the tires. His brother had dropped off a compound bow and asked my buddy to sell it for him. He wants an even trade. My buddy was told that the bow was worth $400. I'm skeptical. My buddy brings up these pictures of a Hoyt ZR 200 compound bow. I politely point out that it doesn't have a few of the features that I was looking for in a bow. Mainly to do with the cams. Then he tells me, well the bow was purchased in 2003. o_O I politely decline the offer of a straight trade. My curiousity did get the better of me though. I decided to look up the bow online. Found a forum and checked out a couple of websites. The bow was only worth $100 in 2015 and that was considered a high price. Furthermore to find out that the manufacturer was no longer making spare parts for the bow. Definitely glad I passed on that "deal". :amen:

Wonder where he originally got the bow from and how much he got ripped off on it.

Apparently it is his brothers. But still a good question. My buddy is definitely not a sportsman or athletic. He's more into old trucks etc. But he's the type that's always got the bright outlook.

One of those chocolate oranges. Give it a whack against the wall. The chocolate splits like orange slices and has a flavor of orange as well.
