    sorry for your loss. I lost my twin sister earlier this month. It's been hard for me to accept. going to try and make a road trip to Texas. They say time heals all wounds, I sure hope so for all of us that have lost loved ones.

    you can. but youre trans fluid will warm up slower without a thermostat. the cooler in the radiator also functions as an ATF warmer for youre transmission when cold.

    and that's the kind of information I'm looking for. Doesn't get brutally cold here in N.C. but we do have our cold weather spells. My truck has 141k miles on it, and I might just wait until spring gets here and replace the factory radiator with a denso and then install the cooler. I'm going to assume that you run the lines from the transmission to the external cooler and then back through the radiator or do I have this backwards.

    Kinda like a no win all around, Bob. They happen sometimes. Dogs will be Dogs. Just as long as You’re good in your own mind you done what you could, it’s about as good as it’s gonna get. Can’t control how Folks think or Feel, other than yourself of course. Let that great healer (Time) take over from here & let it be. :)

    Thanks buddy. I'm ok with how I handled it. I would've stopped immediately but there would have been a problem.

    @StayinStock

    You didn't have much choice in your decision. But the dude shouldn't have acted that way, especially when you tried to explain things to him. Him opening you door is crossing the threshold of entering your space. I'm seriously crippled up, and in no way could I get into a fight with anyone. A girl(woman) could kick my ass these days. My friends always question me as to why I CCW everywhere I go. Your story is a prime example of why. If you travel this area quite a bit, I'd just keep my "Radar" on when in the area. Good luck.
