    I was in my late 20s to 40 exactly doing construction so I can’t really use age as my excuse for intolerance to cold... That’s the one area where I will admit to being a sissy!!! Well, that and scary movies but that’s it!!! LOL! Started my DC job at 40.

    Then why you there? But seriously.. I work in one of the biggest distribution centers the company has and we’re in the top percentage of the volume we do . Believe me I’m one of the few people that love my job. It’s not really a Walmart thing for me. I just really like my job duties. I’m cross trained in the receiving office as well. The receiving office is down an employee and they just rotate fill in’s . I called my GM this week asked if I could come in and work the receiving office until I could orderfill again . He told me I had to be released with no restrictions for the job duties that are required in my orderfilling job description . It’s legalities and I understand it has nothing to do with him because he would take me back if it were his call. I was going to call home office this week And see if they would approve me being in the receiving office, knowing that department is permanently down one employee, until I can orderfill. Then I got the news of a possible surgery again and thought screw it! Believe me that situation made me rethink the company .
