:pccoffee: I went through almost a full gallon of paint on our mud room yesterday :facepalm:The ceiling still needs to be cut in and edging needs some touchups, but it's otherwise finished. I hate to share an almost finished progress pic, so instead I'll share a just started one from yesterday.

I had a co-worker who killed a rooster they had and stuffed it in their garbage can. It apparently wasn't dead when the garbage truck came because he said it flew out once the lid opened and he had to take more drastic measures to take it out after that.

    No!

^better advice, but @StayinStock might want to subtract about 20

That's really cool that you have history that goes back that far. Does your family still continue to use it to this day?

I haven't got a clue where any of my relatives are buried. I'd guess mostly Massachusetts since that's where my family is from, but I honestly haven't got a clue :notsure:

Congrats on the sale and good luck on the offer :fingerscrossed:

There's not really any room left in the original enclosure.
I think the last burial was my grandmother Erla in 1966.

My cousins took over the farm, though they don't farm it personally.
They sold the mineral rights (coal) and have rented out the farmland.
It appears the farmhouse is occupied by the renter.

Mrs Gritto and I came in by the back lane and didn't go to the farmhouse.

My sister is talking about spreading the ashes of our parents there.
I told her don't you dare spread all of Mom's ashes there...or she'll come back to haunt you.
Mom was a city girl from Birmingham.
After 20 years she couldn't take it anymore.
You pretty much have to be born to farm life. :notsure:
