Had my daughter and oldest grandson stop by for a visit. Ending up playing until 1030 pm. Time got away from us. My kids would never have been allowed to be up that late!! Joys of being a grandparent!!

Got to call the doc and find out what time my appointment is tomorrow about my eye. A recording call yesterday evening and told me a different time than what I have down.

 

What’s goin on with your eye?

 

A few years ago when I was just getting a normal check up( I have glasses/contacts) he noticed a spot on my eye. I went to a retina specilist. I guess from my under standing a Capillary in my eye is leaking. People can lose eye sight in that eye. But luckily I haven’t noticed and change in my vision so that good. I haven’t been in a year.

 

You are shitting me, right? I’m going thru that exactly right now! Had angiogram with specialist last week. Have blood leaking behind retina causing swelling, too. My eye sight is compromised in that eye tho On meds now.I go back next month. Hoping for improvement or treatment is shots in the eye!! How crazy is it that we both have it!!

 

That’s pretty damn crazy we both have this. I forget what the doctor is calling it now( the has called it about 3 different names since I started going) I started seeing the specialist 3 or 4 years ago now. My doc said if I had changes he would probably do surgery of some kind, Go in and freeze it. Said he would put me on some meds what I would probably be up for 30 hours at a time.

I don’t have swelling or anything and my vision is the same it has been. Fingers crossed that never changes!


Hope everything turns out good for you! they can do something that fixes it and keep some vision.

 

My doctor told me that an outdated procedure was laser but it only has a 60% rate of success so he doesn’t want to do that. From what they’re telling me, normally it should clear up by itself in three months. Of course, mine has gotten worse so that’s why I needed to see a specialist. Saying mine is most likely caused by stress as I don’t have any of the medical conditions that would cause it.

Yeah right now they just monitoring me. Was every 6 month but nothing was changing so I go once a year. My optometrist is also keeping an eye on things.

I was a % of people that get it don’t ever really have problems. Seams like I’m kinda lucky and fall into that %. Fingers crossed I stay and don’t have any changes for the worse.
