I just have a hearing “injury” in one ear . It randomly comes and goes . For the most part I get to just enjoy silence

I won't disagree with you about laziness. HVAC was my second full time job and I started as a receptionist and was able to work my way up pretty quickly.

Kids want more money than their worth. Want to make more money? Earn it.

I won't go into the nonsense my 25 year old brother spews. Makes me that much more thankful that my niece and nephew are total opposites and although they're a little spoiled, they both will hard workers and I don't worry about their futures.

Learning shorthand was before my time but would have been nice.

Sometimes during meetings I'd take hand written notes if I had to talk a lot because folks would always hear me pounding away on my keyboard and it was hard to constantly go on and off mute.

 

I meant like as in Tiffany shorthand. Something only you could make sense of.
I'm sure you could recall everything but to me ,not much of a clue other than looks like there ate options
I take notes like that then a year later like WTF? Oh, yeahhhh

I remember one time when my boss found out I had done a training class for my old department when an old supe asked for my help.

Why are they coming to you? Why can't their trainers do it?

Needless to say we did not get along.
