So here is my absolutely useless contribution to this absolutely useless thread for the day.

Last week I ordered a little 800 watt generator off of ebay. Something for camping. Nice light weight, not too bulky, just enough power to run some lights and charge cell phones kind of thing. Well I gets the gennie and it took quite a hit somewhere in transportation. Keep in mind, this is a new in the box cheap Chinese made generator. So I writes the seller on EBAY and sent some pictures of the damage. Now this generator only cost me $117 plus tax with free shipping. He was actually quick to reply and offers me a $20 discount. I reply to him that I would be more comfortable with a $50 discount as it is already damaged and I consider it to be a used item because of this damage. He agreed

Nope. But it runs just fine and the gas tank doesn't leak.

During the freeze I had a 4000 Watt. In about May, I bought a used 9000 Watt. Last week I ordered this little 800 Watt for camping and on Saturday I dropped by HF and picked up a 1800 Watt for the lease. I think I'm set for a little while.

 

I think that's the low end of Generac.... I want one as well but can't afford that

 

That’s a 22k guessin around 9 Guy at work getting one installed in dec. a 24k for 14 my buddy said that’s a lil high
