I have no idea why it sounded from the front to me ? Almost sounds like something loose . Short duration low rattle or sometimes a slight clunk . Hard to hear but it’s there . Going to check the torque on my Dakar leaf springs shackles and check the rear shock bolts . I do have the driveshaft shudder if I take off to fast but that’s something different all together .

Fwiw we've had one of our Dakars snap and they were always making noise they warrantied a replacement.

 

My frame was replaced back 4/12/18 @ 108347 miles . Now has 138000
Also steering rack
Power steering lines
Lower steering shaft
All body bolts
Radiator hoses
Thermostat
They did the TSB leaf spring thing also which I was unhappy with so I bought Dakar’s and the dealer swapped them out for me no charge !Then I sold the TSB leafs for $300

 

Maybe a bed bolt is loose

 

I looked a couple weeks ago underneath and sprayed some Krown . Didn’t see anything broken but I will check again thanks

Ha! Those things were popular for a very short time when I was a kid back in the '60's. They were called "clackers". You put your finger in the ring and swung them up and down so the balls hit each other at the top and bottom of the arc and made a loud clacking noise. After a while though those acrylic balls had a tendency to fracture and explode and after some kids had to have shards of plastic removed from their eyes they quit selling them.

 

That looks like an excellent supper as well.

 

If I had went to school in jeans like that, the teacher would have organized a fund raising drive for me.

 

I have to address this specific style of jeans in my orientation class…. They aren’t allowed cuz they are considered a trip hazard.

 

I would have been sent home immediately. When I was in high school we weren't allowed to wear jeans at all, only slacks, and the girls were only allowed to wear dresses, until I was a senior when they finally relaxed the dress code a little. Guys couldn't have hair long enough to touch their ears or their collar either.
