I seems like it's a soft rubber. There are solid ones available as well. I'm putting in the Amazon link for @StayinStock for when he does his.

I had it happen twice the first month I had my truck, on clear days. Has not happened since.
But like Dean said, there is a recall for water issues.

After the issues you have had, mine will definitely be staying on. I think.

I still dont understand why his are harder to get off than mine were... mine came off extremely easy.

Maybe a different glue on the decal.... who knows

I've actually been thinking about that and came up with....nothing.
Even the vinyl I removed wasn't too bad (not as easy as yours) and I removed it in March.

    Nope.

@NunyaBizness It's supposed to be 86º tomorrow, so I am going to try again. Maybe the hotter temp will help.

My pin stripes were silver (stupid) so they had to come off. It was not easy and they came off in mostly 2" pieces, for what seemed like hours. But they did just peel off with very little residue. It helps to let your fingernails grow a little first, or use tweezers.

I do however recommend the 3M brand decal remover spray for when you are done.

    https://www.amazon.com/3M-03618-Adh...esive+remover&qid=1558125056&s=gateway&sr=8-3

It is not cheap but works great. Most auto parts stores sell it. Some guys use WD40 too. I used Goof Off when I did my B pillar vinyl and it left marks. I used this to fix it:

    https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-Cle...s+cleaner+wax&qid=1558125017&s=gateway&sr=8-5

I also recommend this for after any decal removal mod.

Oh, and for anyone wondering about the B pillar vinyl. Use a mild heat gun or good hair dryer to soften it. Mine left a lot of residue doing it in the winter. But I much prefer the Inferno without it.

Fishing line, 3M adhesive remover, and cleaner wax! should take all of 10 minutes if you are drinking a beer while doing it.
