Nice. Stay out of that office work if possible. For the techs it's not too bad of a company. I was an estimator. Them bastards fired me 3 days before Christmas, on a Friday.

I sold my bike last summer. I've had a few over the years. Just didn't get to ride enough I guess, 8-9k miles in 8 years. Maybe someday I'll buy another one but if so then Road Glide...rode stepfather couple years ago pretty much brand new and stage 2 it go pretty good. Better than my '07 softail custom anyway.

I wasn't sure what to expect but damn.

That's fucked up. I've had similar happen before but not that extreme on the timing, thankfully.

I heard companies fire often in December, it keeps the accountants happy. Was the best thing that could have happened for me looking back.

 

I couldn't ride it without doing 150+ mph, no exaggeration.
Not sure if this was dads Road Glide that I cruised a bit or his previous one.

I am thankful my old job didn't do that. If you got let go it was either in November, after great place to work surveys (so employees don't know their jobs are threatened) and review deadlines, or into February before bonus payouts.

No logic to either of those time frames but you learn to notice a trend

 

Hell, I got fired lots of times just before Christmas. They shouldn’t serve me alcohol at those company parties. Especially where mistletoe and sitting on laps is involved.
