I decided the snow tires were too important. So I let them take pictures of my thunder hog and let the manger squeeze my wife's juicy ass. :notsure:

@ReefSR54X4 .I have these on my return lines to my baseboard heating system.

Can’t recall what they’re called. But I believe I can remove air from my lines that way. Would I have to wait for the zone valve to open, then open one up ( just a little) and let air out till it’s all just water?
    Thanks

yes, they are bleeders, old school type
Typically there is a boiler drain on return near boiler with a valve to isolate and burp air, but those were added for some reason. If you open the bleeder when zone valve isn’t open, you should still get air/water. How close from boiler is that bleeder? Are your zone valves for each room? Each zone valve have their own t-stat? Do you have an auto feed to keep the boiler at least 12-15 psi?

Brings back memories of a family vacation we took to visit my brother in Oregon. My wife didn't go on the charter boat, she stayed with my brothers youngest. My daughter and I were the only ones who didn't end up chumming. :rofl:my daughter said she started to feel a little sick but the fish were biting and she just concentrated on reeling them in!
We also set crab traps and got a bunch. Fun times!

Both bleeders are about 3’ away. First floor has two loops. Those bleeders are for the first floor with one thermostat. Second floor has its own thermostat with one loop running up one gable wall and up the other. Baseboard heater on each gable wall. There is an auto feed.
I’ve shut off return supply and isolated zones while leaving valve manually open while attaching a hose on the bib and getting a good amount of air out .I think I have a bleeder on the 90’s on my he gable walls for the second floor. Does that sound right?
Still manage to get air and not sure if I’m doing this right. Seems like those bleeders would work ok. Also have a spirovent over expansion tank.
