Thanks for asking. I'm still pretty sore but all my wounds are healing up. I'm sick of the icy hot and neosporin smell.
My mom is still in the hospital doing therapy on her knee. She's sick of the place, of course. But she's doing okay.

    I haven't seen an 8 cylinder in forever. That's a sweet setup.

Looks like they are avoiding all federal waters (wetlands and other waters [referred to as streams/surace waters in figures; federal waters that are not wetlands]), and applying 100' buffers. They can impacts federal waters, but they have to get permits and mitigate at high ratios (e.g. created at a 3+:1 ratio or buy into a bank and preserve similar waters in perpetuity). From my phone it appears they are completely avoiding. I presume NY also has State waters, and State waters are usually more conservative (i.e. States take more jurisdiction then feds).

Per the clear cutting, they'd have to mitigate at higher ratios too. If there are endangered species or nesting birds they'll have to mitigate for that too. ALL of that, plus topics like noise, traffic, etc would be addressed in the project's New York's State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) document that has or will go out for public review. I presume so at least because I work in CEQA alot, which is California's version. Private companies, housing developments, etc must go through it, not just public projects. That would be the master document I would find if you're trying to get more information and provide public commemts during the review period, which may have passed, that they are required to respond to publically in the final document when it is released. I've seen projects change due to that process, but honestly I doubt it'd do anything in your case. I know you said NY don't give a shit, but no way a project like that is not on the up and up, permitted appropriately, and completely legal. They must mitigate for their environmental impacts, which is extremely expensive (a lot of my work is permit acquisition/compliance and mitigation for impacts to biological resources), but the regultaory agencies must sign off on it.

Did you alreasy find the SEQR document (you got those figures)? If not, try to find it. I'd be willing to give a review if would like and let you know what I think. I've worked on solar projects in the past.
