I have no plans to do so. They should be able to make those decisions for themselves. There comes a point that it's dangerous, so I'm just recommending they come to that decision themselves before that point. Currently, I work with the elderly every day. It's a sad thing to watch a person lose their independence. I try to help give them as much independence for as long as possible.

Hmmm...my guess is this:

The Appalachian Trail runs past the base of High Rock.
Maybe it was one of the volunteers who maintain the trail, cut downed trees that have fallen over the Trail, etc.

Anyway, that guy's behavior was certainly kinda creepy.
No wonder you were all a bit spooked.


High Rock is not actually all that close to Camp David (it's further south and east).
There is, however an Army Signals Corps communications tower relay station just east of High Rock.



Speaking of High Rock, I can just about see it from my house, but a spur of the mountain is in the way.
