I have Siri set to remind me each hour. "Your life is meaningless and you don't have a fucking thing planned. Go back to bed. Nobody cares"

And she does it with an Australian accent. Like Olivia Newton-John. So that's hot.

I got nothing. I'm at a loss.

 

Woke up 1.5 hours after falling asleep to dollar-size+ hail smacking into my house. Then it stopped and everything went still. Being paranoid of tornadoes, I Iaid there waiting for sirens. Right when I started to fall asleep again, the thunderstorms started. Maybe 2 hours of sleep total. Gonna be a long day.

 

Professional Randy had a job interview today. It did not go well, so professional Randy is day drinking.

At the end of the day it's not the end of the world. I went into it knowing I didn't want the job and only did it as a practice interview, since it is literally my first job interview ever. Still is a bummer though.

Sorry to hear...Seriously 1st job interview? I miss the days of meeting face to face. I'm a self proclaimed A-1 fucktard...But I am charming and have had ok luck with the interview process. Nowadays everything's done online and I've tried exactly twice to get part time work and both times rejected! And one of those was driving rental cars to and from pick up/ drop off locations for Enterprise for $9 hour. I've been driving since 1983 with a clean record, no dwi's or anything (that is still visible) and they said I wasn't qualified. FFS what else do they need for $9 hr...?

 

Yeah I joined the Navy right out of high school, and before that just worked odd jobs for family friends so no interview's needed. So now I'm almost 27 and just went to my first interview. Pretty wild.
