What, across the street from Cavetown Liquors?

The last one never made the news that I saw...and I watched for it.
    Investigative reporting is dead.

I'm getting ready to go for a ride on my bike.
    Maybe I'll swing by.

No 77 and 64. Main Street into smithsburg. If you're coming off the mountain from 77 its across the street on the right. There used to be tons of Christmas trees there.

    Story Time With Gritto

Meh, I had to replace the water heater a couple years ago.
As everyone can appreciate, when your old one suddenly goes down, you're not too particular about researching a replacement.
So I got an AO Smith water heater from Lowes and installed it myself.

It had fancy electronics on it to program the temp for various times of day and night.
And that was when the fun started.

I put it on ECO mode...after an unpredictable length of time, it would simply shut off.
Tried various other modes, same-o same.

I finally disconnected the controller, manually set the temperature and hot wired the bitch.
No, I wasn't gonna try to manhandle a replacement water heater in there...hard enough the first time.
Nor was I gonna wait on a replacement controller.

    Serious question:

What do you really gain from that stuff (apart from one more thing to go wrong)?
You let the water cool, you gotta warm it back up.
That's all very well if you'll be gone for several days or weeks.
In that case I simply turn it off at the breaker panel.
