    I understand it makes a difference too. A former coworker spent 10k on a .308 , another 8k or something on optics then a can on top all that. I forget exactly but over 1000 yards he was hitting the steel plates, and 840 yards too. Went to a school to learn the dope. Hi quality stuffs. Even I hit the plates..on second shot:anonymous:

    Reloading helps a bunch. You might be surprised a half a grain of powder or .020" seating depth can open up groups substantially. It's also nice being able to have range area set up in the yard so not have to load so many experimental.
