    The MR2 that I looked at online was only $7500 for a 2002 I think. It sold quick. I didn't even have a chance to go look in person.

    For me the MR2 was the car I was striving to buy after I graduated school in 2004. I would drive by the dealership and think back then that the $22 k - $25 k price was so expensive but I could afford it after college. It just stood out more to me than the Miata. Having said that since the MR2's are hard to find and parts elusive a Miata would be a better option.
