unpopular opinion I can see, but I kinda like windows all over if I was real remote. though the option to draw curtains or something across all of them would be a must cause optional privacy is a must. don't think I'd ever do it cause I like log cabins way more, but if I was filthy rich, I wouldn't mind having a place like that too.

Hah...I don't know about "most" being skilled. Our vehicle insurance is awfully expensive here due to the excellent driving skills and animal dodging abilities of folks.

Theres no one by there. The house is covered on 3 sides by forest/trees that are then chain link fenced in. The side thats open faces the river with a nature preserve across the river. You can't even see it from the road it's off of.

I wouldn't be so worried about being seen. I'd be more worried about the river rising too and flooding the area around it which has happened a few times over the years.
