It was purchased in 2003 so 04 sounds correct! Nice place. They have done a lot of work. Added more trails and a boardwalk and a nice fishing pier

I ordered brake pads for my kids car. Fuggers sent me da wrong shitz!
I look back at my order confirmation and sure enough I did indeed order the correct pads.
Prly the last 50° day of the year too damn it.

When I lived in Green Cove Springs, you were far more likely to hit one of them than anything else.
You'd see 'em by the roadside in the morning.

BTW, I never ran one over myself, but people told me it sounded like a pumpkin...
... though how they knew what a punkin being run over sounds like they didn't say





This is what we got up here.
I don't go out of my way to nail them (the opposite, in fact), but I don't feel especially bad about it

Story time...
We were driving out of the gravel parking lot at the fair. I was only 6 or 7 at the time. As we were driving along dad saw a big fat barn cat run out in front of the car. It jolted the car a little when we hit it. I was in the back in my car seat and asked dad "What was that?" He said "Just a rock" and we never talked about it again until I was much older

 

Oh okay then maybe I was younger but I know I was in a car seat. Sorry but that was a few years ago so I dont really remember

One time on my motorcycle I saw the brake lights on the car ahead of me come on and he swerved...
... before I knew it I'd run over a big fat raccoon (didn't see that one coming).
That was exciting.


Moral of the story:
Don't follow the vehicle ahead of you too closely

Those armadillo some strange looking critters. I have no recollection of seeing one up close in real life but would like to. I was even half tempted to pull off the road and have look see at a dead one but figure it prly stinky.

 

I don't have any pictures. My parents were still using push to talk Nextels so no phone cameras either
