    Daniel Foley is the creator of Extraterrestrial Culture Day. In 2003, the New Mexico House of Representatives approved Daniel’s proposal to celebrate this day. Since the alleged unidentified flying object (UFO) crash in 1947, Daniel, a native of Roswell, believed that taking advantage of something that “did or did not happen” decades ago has contributed to the recognition of New Mexico.”
