You might find an older Ford 900 series for around $2000. But any of the newer compact utility tractors will be much more than that. I bought a Ford 961 for $500 from a guy that had not run in 10 years. It had been in a shed the whole time though. Got it home rebuilt the carburetor and put a new battery in it and now have a good working tractor with power steering even!

Highlander. She wanted a much smoother, car like ride than a truck like ride. She loves it so far, and believe me, I have to bite my tongue really, really hard not to remind her "Hey, I'm the only one who works, I have to pay all the bills, and we just got you a new car. I don't make unlimited money. We can't simply keep financing things just because it would be 'nice to have'".

I get it, I'd love to drop a few thou on some truck upgrades, guns, have a new tractor with the needed attachments, quads, full new roof on the house, new metal garage/workshop,...... but unless we hit dat dere PowerBall or MegaMillion$, 'tain't gon happen.
