Understatement. We're also next to one of the only Asian grocery stores here so like wth?

I'll let you slide this time only because it's an odd sight. You should see the pad Thai from the place near us. Thai noodle soup is a more appropriate name.

 

In idaho after memorial day the locals put together a "lunch" buffet type thing for the American legion members that were in the memorial day parade.

While it was great they tried...the food was garbage. They had big bowls of egg noodles...nothing on them...no butter seasonings, and they were cold (who does that??). I almost spit them out. Macaroni salad was awful. Cold rolls. And people were gobbling it down!! Im like wtf is wrong with you people??

 

American Legion Post members enjoy good home cooking and booze.

Yup. It’s not the food but what you wash it down with that matters.

 

One time I ordered "JoJo" potatoes at a place near us. Asked them what they were and they said it was just fried potato wedges but that's literally what they were. A whole potato cut into 4 gargantuan wedges and just popped into my plate like they were somehow a better choice than literally anything else.

You'd think they'd at least not mess up a potato but whatever
