    The wood from Osage Orange trees is extremely hard and is commonly used for fence posts around here.

    Sooooooooo, I broke a toilet seat hinge for the first time in 57 years. I analyzed the situation and realized that my particular method of paperwork involves leaning to my left so as to facilitate a clear reach-around with the Charmin. Well, them cheap Chinese-ium plastic hinges couldn’t take the torque. A solution was needed. Too much horizontal flex is your enemy in this situation so I did the only logical thing! I ‘Modded’ my crapper seat. Zero cost upgrade here Sweets. Pry the two shitter seat stand-offs from the old seat and install them on the new (cheap) seat and crap away!!! 3/16” drill bit with a stop. You can lean to and fro to the Sound of Music and this bitch ain’t flexing!!! It’s brilliant!
