Okay, never heard of that before. Looks interesting. But I don’t like cake anyway. Just the ice cream they serve with it at birthday parties. Then I sneak the cake to whichever dog is under the table

 

I’m the opposite…. I like the cake, hold the ice cream. We’d make great birthday party buddies!!

Tell you what, anything that hits you hard enough to bust your helmet is probably gonna break your neck.
And I don't like them hanging crap on helmets... it's distracting.
I have ear plugs and safety glasses and the good sense to use 'em, thank you.

Here's the plain old fiberglass linesman's helmet I've used for 40 years.
Plenty strong enough and has a floating liner to absorb (some) shock.
The liner hangs off the bolts visible all round the helmet above the rim.

 

Different situation, but when I was active duty, a dude was going so fast on paved road he couldnt navigate a turn...blew through the curve and hit one of the curve sign posts. Had his helmet on but it broke his neck instantly. Died right there.

 

I'm sure they'd be delighted to...

 

Just like the frosting… I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’d eat it if I had to, but it wouldn’t be my choice.
