So, I was foolin’ round, toolin’ down interstate 40 and I see this exit to “Two Guns”.
Being the nosy curious sort, I took it and came upon this…

Whilst waiting to get some service, I whipped out my iPad and did some research. It seems this little ghost town has quite a history…. Starting in 1878.
According to the stories, a marauding band of Apaches had attacked and massacred an entire Navajo village. Taking 3 girls hostage. This greatly annoyed the tribal elders and they sent out a war party to hunt them down. They eventually found them hiding in this cave, known as “Apache Death Cave”

    IMG_0020.jpg

The narrow entrance apparently opens up into a series of large caves. Which I didn’t explore because I was too skeered alone and didn’t want to risk breaking my leg or something. Anyway, the Navajo warriors apparently set up a fire at the entrance and suffocated the 43 Apaches hiding within. The 3 abducted girls were never found. It’s reportedly haunted now.
Anyway, eventually Route 66 was built and happened to be near the cave entrance. An enterprising man, whose name I can’t remember and am too lazy to google, bought the land, pretended to be an Apache, built a gas station, a tourist-trap desert zoo, built fake ruins and reportedly recovered the bones from the cave to sell as souvenirs.

    Corded vs cordless tools

For most stuff @ home, cordless are fine.
I'm hard on tools so I wound up getting the M18 stuff bc I expect even battery powered to do their job and not crap out - so far, so good

I also agree that for professional all day/heavy duty stuff, corded is probably the way to go
