    That's my definition of it.

As to my other votes in the poll:

I discharged a firearm within the city limits of Greenville, SC when I lived there.
To put down a pitiful diseased stray tomcat.
Every New Year, there were always a few neighbors firing off their shotguns.
They do it here too, but it's not in city limits.
Then there's my war on groundhogs.
One shot from a .22 rifle and people are like: "Huh? What was that? Oh well."
More than one shot and some housewife is probably calling the cops.
My neighbors aren't very close by, but too close for it to be legal. :p

Also, when living in SC, I threw a few M-88s from my cousin's bass boat.
    To no observable effect. :boom:
So that vote was stretching things.

The other votes are just kid stuff.

[Side note] Why do they call it football? Should be feetball.

Yeah, where's Brandon been, anyway?

In my school they weren't big on sports. When a bunch of sweaty guys were huddled up together they called it a circle-jerk. They always wanted me to be pivot man. o_O

Mosquitos aren't bad here at all.
    Not enough standing water.

Now, the Midwest is another thing entirely.

Right out of High School, I hitchhiked across country.
Got dumped off late one night just inside Illinois west of Terre Haute.
My buddy and I said, eh, fuck it, we'll camp out right here off the interstate.

It was stinking hot, but we had to put on our sweatshirts.
Neither of us had any repellent.
I'll never forget the constant whine of skeeter wings.
I tried to keep my head covered.
But I woke up with my hands, nose and right ear swelled up massively.

We used to go catfishing at night quite a bit. It would be miserably hot but we would wear thick, long sleeve shirts, jeans and gloves because of the mosquitos. Spraying down with something didn't seem to help much. I have a buddy that still goes, he takes a small generator and plugs in a fan to help keep them away.
